Procurement Management consists of:

• Requests for proposals based on owner-approved specifications.
• Comprehensive Analysis of competitive bidding process on bid abstracts for owner review.
• Initiation of the actual purchasing process upon receipt of purchase authorization.
• Acting as the client's agent, FDI issues all purchase orders and change orders, greatly reducing the burden to in-house materials management staff.
• The owner has total control over all procurement decisions. FDI acts solely as the hospital's agent.
