Challenge: Several changes in project personnel resulted in modifications to equipment requests and requirements. Project also experienced protracted OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) review.

Result: FDI successfully responded to changes in equipment requirements and specifications resulting in project completion on time and within budget.

Challenge: Large expansion and remodel project included extensive inventory.

Result: FDI team successfully assessed and identified more than 3,000 items for relocation while working in a large, busy surgery department.

Challenge: Protracted OSHPD approval process required some equipment changes due to discontinued models, changes in regulations and technologies.

Result: FDI tracked necessary changes, providing technical data to make the necessary design and budgetary changes. Worked with the project team to provide evaluations and technical information to make timely changes.

Challenge: Multiple OSHPD back checks performed to satisfy state architectural requirements.
